Safety overview
Status: Mostly safe
This is a legitimate consumer media app for creating slideshow videos from photos. It may need access to folders where your pictures and music are stored so you can import media into projects, which is normal for its purpose. Removing the app does not affect macOS, but it can leave behind support files, saved preferences, or project-related data until those are cleaned up separately. Use ordinary care with any media app by granting access only to the files you want to use.
Recommendation: Keep 4K Slideshow Maker if you still create photo slideshow videos or need to reopen past projects. If you no longer use it, you can remove the app and then delete its leftover support files to recover a small amount of space.
