diClock supplies separate Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets:

  • Select Location in the small Home Screen size.
  • Location List in medium size, showing the first two saved locations.
  • Location List in large size, showing the first five saved locations.
  • World Clock for supported rectangular, circular, and inline Lock Screen positions.

Steps

  1. Touch and hold an empty area of the Home Screen.
  2. Tap the add-widget control.
  3. Search for diClock.
  4. Choose the size and widget description that matches the information you want.
  5. Position it, finish editing, and verify the city and time.

Before you finish

  • iOS controls widget refresh timing to preserve battery life.
  • The medium and large Location List widgets use the first two and first five saved locations. The current app screen has no reorder control, so remove and add locations again if you need a different saved order.
  • The Use 24-Hour Time switch in diClock Settings applies to widgets and requests a widget refresh when changed.
  • A widget is not a continuously running app view. diClock supplies timeline entries and iOS decides when to refresh them.

Tips

  • Open diClock once after installation before adding its widget.
  • Keep the app installed for the widget to work.
