This issue primarily applies to the App Store edition’s saved folder authorization.

Select the correct folder

When asked for Home, choose the folder named for your macOS user account—not Desktop, Downloads, or Documents.

Reset and authorize again

  1. Open Settings → Privacy.
  2. Remove Home Folder Access.
  3. Quit diCleaner.
  4. Reopen it.
  5. Start the affected tool.
  6. Select the Home folder and confirm.

Keep one app copy

Authorize the App Store copy stored in Applications. Another edition or duplicate has a separate authorization state.

Folder identity changed

Restores, account migration, Home relocation, or disk changes can invalidate saved access. Select the current location again.

If the direct edition shows a similar folder request, confirm that it is for a specific selected scan location rather than the App Store Home authorization flow.
