Select the Downloads folder for the active macOS account and reauthorize it if access was removed.
Screenshots can be saved to Desktop, Documents, clipboard, a cloud folder, or another custom destination. Check the macOS Screenshot options and scan that actual location.
Cloud optimization can leave placeholders rather than complete local files. Download them before content-dependent analysis.
Files renamed, converted, imported, or stripped of expected characteristics may not be recognized as screenshots. Use Space Analyzer or Finder when you need a general folder inventory.
