Denied Photos access can prevent supported tools from reading items managed inside the protected Photos library.

Directly selected image files can still work when macOS allows access to those files.

To change the decision:

  1. Quit diCleaner.
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
  3. Review access for the active diCleaner copy.
  4. Reopen diCleaner.
  5. Start a new photo-related operation.

Do not edit the internal Photos Library package to bypass permission. Export an image through Photos when you want a normal file copy.

Granting Photos access does not upload images or remove metadata automatically.
