Repeat rules are appropriate for events that follow a consistent schedule. diReminder supports Off, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly, with an interval for the selected unit.

Steps

  1. Edit the reminder.
  2. Open the Repeat options.
  3. Choose Off, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
  4. Set the interval, such as every 2 days or every 3 months.
  5. Confirm the first target date and time.
  6. Read the repeat summary shown by diReminder.
  7. Save and inspect the next occurrence.

Before you finish

  • Weekly recurrence uses the weekday of the target date.
  • Monthly recurrence uses its day of the month.
  • Yearly recurrence uses its month and day.
  • Editing a repeating reminder can affect future scheduling.
  • Irregular schedules may be clearer as separate reminders.

Tips

  • Test complex recurrence with a noncritical item.
  • Review recurring reminders after daylight-saving or travel changes.
