The Remind Me Earlier section contains four fixed notification choices: on the day, one day before, one week before, and one month before. It is a section heading, not a custom lead-time editor.

Steps

  1. Edit the reminder.
  2. Verify the target date and time first.
  3. In Remind Me Earlier, turn on any of the following:
    • Remind on the day
    • Remind one day before
    • Remind one week before
    • Remind one month before
  4. When Remind on the day is enabled, choose its notification time.
  5. Save the item.
  6. Confirm diReminder notifications are allowed in iOS Settings.

Before you finish

  • An advance alert scheduled in the past cannot be delivered retroactively.
  • The current editor does not accept an arbitrary custom number of minutes, hours, or days.
  • Focus modes, Scheduled Summary, and disabled sounds change how notifications appear.

Tips

  • Use one alert for awareness and another only when action truly begins earlier.
  • Review lock-screen privacy settings for sensitive titles.
